How The Future of War is Changing

It is amazing the transformation of today's military with all the high-tech robotic weapons systems that are used to protect our nation against our enemies. The Army, Air Force, Navy and all the special forces have war tools of incredible advanced technologies. The future fighting force uses an array of technologies such as fiber optics, 3G +, wireless, infrared, sensors, lidar, radar, passive and active RFID.
Then there are the far off future technologies that are under research with DARPA for the future of the modern battlespace. Today of course technologies such as smart munitions have reshaped not only the United States but also our allies in NATO and those nations on the UN, security council.
Some of the technologies have ended up in the space program with NASA and eventually these transfer technologies that were once used for surveillance and weapons systems are handed down to the private sector for such things as commercial satellites. Other technologies end up in our spy agencies or for use in other military command and control situations.
One thing is certain and that is all this research and development is not going to waste. As futurists dream up new ways of producing artificial intelligence it is amazing the needs of our government for such applications. For instance some is used by the NSA for prediction software.
The Military uses more technology than most people could ever even dream of. From heat signature systems to full-scale electronic attack (EA). Indeed there is also a human factor and often the mass media and public opinion turn to fierce political debates on issues of war and peace, death and purpose, as the evolution of war technologies effect the future of civilizations and the on-going viability of the species.
